Muslim Migrants in European Far-Right Discourse: Unpacking Ideological Mechanisms of Islamophobia and Undermining Transnational Citizenship
Abstract: This article analyzes the ideological mechanisms employed by the European far-right between 2015 and 2025 to construct a negative image of Muslim migrants and the impact of such discourses on the concept of transnational citizenship. Drawing on a theoretical framework that integrates the sociology of religion and migration with Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA), the research reveals how the “extremist” positioning of Muslims in Europe becomes a target of Islamophobic ideology. The study concludes that this symbolic violence forces migrants to adopt sharp adaptive strategies and undermines the foundations of inclusive citizenship. It recommends activating interfaith dialogue mechanisms to counter this phenomenon.

From Averroes to Spinoza: The Complex Relationship Between Philosophy and Religion in Medieval and Modern Thought
Abstract: This study examines the complex issue of the relationship between philosophy and religion, focusing on two contrasting intellectual models: Averroes (Ibn Rushd) in his treatises, and Baruch Spinoza in his “Theological-Political Treatise”. The research aims to illuminate the fundamental epistemological and political differences that shaped each thinker’s approach, resulting in one case in limited reconciliation and in the other in radical separation. It argues that Spinoza’s separation represents a qualitative shift in the history of thought, positioning freedom of thought as essential for social peace and political coexistence, rather than emphasizing knowledge of the creator.
